Leonard A. Sorge, 57, of Verona, passed away on September 18, 2018.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Friday from 4-8 pm at Shook''s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave. (Rt. 23), Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 10 am at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, Verona, NJ with interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.

Born in Newark, he lived most of his life in Livingston and settled in Verona in 2015. He received his Bachelor''s Degree from Tulane University and went on to achieve his Master''s Degree in Business from Rutgers University. Currently, he was the purchasing agent for the County of Essex in Newark. In his spare time, he had a passion for horses, owning several horses and visiting various racetracks.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Leonard and Elsa Sorge and his brother, Alan Sorge.
Surviving are his beloved aunt, Margaret Sorge; cherished cousins, Gina Sorge-Fassett and her husband David, Anthony Sorge, Jill Sorge, and Linda Sorge-Cella and her husband George, Joseph Sorge, and Joanne Lisa; loving second cousins, Caroline, Ryan, Anthony Jr., Lauren, and Matthew. Also surviving are many other extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation, kidney.org.
