Obituary for Ann Marie "Nancy" Christensen (Millman)
Ann Marie Christensen, affectionately known as Nancy, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at Notre Dame Church, 359 Central Ave., North Caldwell, N.J. with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Ann was born in East Orange. N.J. to Norman and Ann (nee: Brophy) Millman. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Essex County Hospital Center, Cedar Grove. Ann was an active member of the Rosary Society at St. Aloysius Church, the Board of Health for the Borough of Caldwell and enjoyed attending her local high school football games and her monthly nurse’s luncheons. Ann also enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, devoted husband, Robert P., children, Diane Marie and Robert, Jr. and her brother, Norman, she is survived by her loving children, Donna A. Magenheim, Lori J. Christensen-Spitler, and Caroline A. Garamella and her husband Michael; cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Erica and Amanda Magenheim, Evan Vaughn Spitler and Julia and Ava Garamella; adored great-granddaughter, Chelsea F. Madden; caring siblings, Robert Millman, and his wife, Elizabeth, Donald Millman, and his wife, Joanne, Joan Aloia, and her husband, Don, and her brother-in-law, Richard Christensen, as well as many nieces and nephews.
