Ernestine V. Stocker, 92, of Wakefield, NH, died on December 18, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 am through 10:30 am in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, NJ with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
Born and raised in Austria, she moved to Canada with her family when she was 17 years old. Later she moved to the USA, settling in North Bergen, then resided in Riverton and has been a resident of Wakefield, NH for the past few years. Prior to her retirement, she was a sales associate for Bargainland in North Bergen, NJ. In her spare time, she enjoyed lounging by her pool, growing tomatoes, and keeping up on current events. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Karl Stocker, her son, Robert Stocker, and her sister, Rosa Chmella.
Surviving is her beloved son, Gary Stocker and his wife Wendy; loving daughter in-law, Coleen Stocker; cherished grandsons, Kevin Stocker, Sean Stocker, and Ian Stocker.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.
