Obituary for Jeanette Chrissafis (Zazzarino)
Jeanette Chrissafis, formerly of Verona, NJ, passed on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She lived for 91 years.
Born in Newark, NJ to Joseph and Marie Zazzarino, Jeanette was raised in Newark with her two brothers, Anthony and Donato.
She was a legal secretary working in local law firms, eventually retiring from St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell where she worked in the rectory.
Surviving are her sons along with their wives, James and Janice Tressito of Forked River and Mark and Janice Tressito of Whitehouse Station, eight grandchildren, Jacqueline, Brian, Amanda, Rachel, Dana, Thomas, Alyssa and Joseph. In addition, six great grandchildren, Olivia, Henry, Coleman, Beau, Jacob and Arabella.
Family and friends will visit at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ on Thu., Dec. 16th from 4-7 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Fri., Dec. 17th at 10:30 am. The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.
