Jerrilyn L. White (nee: Florman), 76, of Verona, passed away on October 15, 2021. A graveside service will be offered on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11am at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ. Funeral Services are entrusted to Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, Roseland, NJ, shookfarmer.com.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Bloomfield before settling in Verona. She worked as a Claims Examiner for over 30 years at Preserver Group.
During her retirement, she cherished spending quality time with her grandchildren and watching them grow up into young adults. She enjoyed her daily walks with her husband and their beloved Shadow. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching and recommending the latest television series and movies to her family. She shared a strong bond with her grandchildren and was always in attendance at their events and childhood milestones.
She had a great sense of humor and was never afraid to speak her mind. She was always there to support her family and provide comfort and words of wisdom when they were needed the most.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Philip White; devoted children, Alyse Freed, and her husband, Bill, and Mark Henderson, and his wife, Sharon; cherished grandchildren, Emily, Melissa, and Louis; loving sister, Marsha Michel, and her husband, Al.
