Obituary for Jorge Ruben Rodriguez
Jorge Ruben Rodriguez, “Tito,” 65, of West Orange, N.J., passed away on January 19, 2022.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 2-6 p.m. at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, N.J. Words of Remembrance will be offered at 6 p.m. Cremation will be private at Rosedale Crematory, Montclair, N.J. The visitation and service will be live streamed via Zoom, please click here. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay to the late Ricardo and Maria Reneé Rodriguez, Jorge came to the U.S. in 1978 and settled in West Orange. He was a project manager for All Tech Inc., Leopard Framing Corp., Extreme Construction, Inc., and Builders FirstSource. He loved soccer and was a huge Mets and Giants fan. He took joy in camping and being outdoors in nature. He enjoyed carpentry, movies, TV shows, and was very passionate about music. He was a winemaker and would not shy away from sharing a glass with anyone. Furthermore, painting, art, and history influenced his life greatly and he was eager to enjoy all these facets of his life with his family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by beloved wife, Nubia Rodriguez (nee: Lascuni); loving children, Martin Rodriguez, and his wife, Angela, and Nubia Fonseca, and her husband, Mathias; cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Nubia, and Alessandra; and dear siblings, Gladys Mabel Cantagallo and Ricardo Rodriguez; and dearest uncle of Patricia Zakkour, Lorena Rusignuolo, and Marcelo Rodriguez.
