Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Mary A. Dougan, 90, of Manchester, NJ, formerly of Caldwell, NJ, peacefully passed away at home, after a brief illness, on March 6, 2022, with her loving family at her side.
Mary spent more than 25 years working as a Secretary for West Caldwell-Caldwell Recreation department
Mary was born in Newark, NJ to James and Flora McDade. She spent most of her childhood in Kearny, NJ and graduated from Kearny High School in 1949.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Dougan, in January of 2021. Surviving are her devoted sons, Ralph Dougan, Jr. and Jeff Dougan and his wife, Lynda; loving sister, Elizabeth Leonard; cherished grandsons, James and Anthony, and adored great granddaughter, Amanda.
Family and friends will meet at St. Aloysius Church R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Wednesday, March 9th at 10:30 am, where we will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. The internment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell. Arrangements in care of Garrett Jones Memorial Homes of Roseland (shookfarmerfh.com).
