Michael F. Lapone, 67, of Verona, died peacefully on October 30, 2021 surrounded by his family. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 pm in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com. A Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday 10 am at Our Lady of
the Lake Church, Verona, NJ.

Michael grew up in North Caldwell, NJ and settled in Verona, NJ in 1983 with his wife Lisa, where they
raised their family. Prior to his retirement in January of 2021, he was Administrator for Aronsohn Weiner
Salerno and Kaufman P.C. in Hackensack, NJ for 18 years. He enjoyed sports cars, boating, the NY Jets, the
NJ Devils and target shooting with his sons. Weekends were often spent with his family at his favorite race
track, Lime Rock Park. Summers were spent at their shore house in Holgate, Long Beach Island, NJ with
friends and family. He was a magnetic personality, maintained friendships spanning more than 50 years
and was a devoted family man. Above all things, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and
grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa M. Lapone (nee Freda); devoted children, Andrew M. Lapone and
his wife Meghan, Amanda L. Attamante and her husband Kyle, and Christopher Lapone; cherished
grandchildren, Cara, Molly, and Matthew; dear brothers, Vincent Lapone and his wife Lucille, Patrick
Lapone, and Paul Lapone and his wife Aleta. He is predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Annette
Lapone.
