Obituary for Salvatore L. Antieri
Salvatore Louis Antieri, 97, of Roseland passed away on October 17, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 pm in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com. A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday 10 am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, NJ with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he moved to West Orange in 1962 and settled in Roseland in 1996. During World War II, he honorably served in the US Army. Afterwards, he began his career as a mechanical engineer at Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Livingston, NJ and later for the State of New Jersey. In his spare time, he was an avid bowler.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Antonio and Filomena Antieri, his daughter, Nancy Fabian, and his siblings, Mike, Josephine, and Frances.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 68 years, Marie T. Antieri (nee Filippone); devoted children, Paul Antieri and his wife Patricia, Michael Antieri and his wife Leigh Ann, Marie Smith and her husband Ron; dear son-in-law, Mark Fabian; loving grandchildren, Elissa, Kristen, Michelle, Allison, Mark, Ashley, Nicole, Christopher, and Jeremy; cherished great-grandchildren, Brayden, Mateo, Liam, Connor, Avery, and Katherine.
